Is the PicoSure Laser appropriate for mid back or lower back tattoos? If not, why?

Picosure can be used on any area of the body. The key question is what color the tattoo is.

There are 4 or 5 picosecond lasers on the market. A laser that is appropriate for the color of ink is a better choice. 694 and 755nm is effective on green, blue, and black (and part of purple). 1094 is effective on black and dark blue, while 532nm is good for red, orange, yellow, brown, and part of purple.

Thanks for your inquiry about treatment with the PicoSure laser. A tattoo anywhere on the back can be effectively treated with this particular laser. The size and color of the tattoo will determine the number of treatments needed.
