Tattoo Removal and Health Insurance

One of the biggest complaints that people have about tattoo removal is that it's expensive. There is a good reason that tattoo removal costs so much. In fact, there are several good reasons including the high cost of laser tattoo removal equipment, the specialized training that a good tattoo removal specialist has undergone and the time that the entire tattoo removal process takes. Despite these good reasons, many people don't want to have to pay for their tattoo removal. Some would suggest that this is a procedure which should be covered by health insurance. However, it's not. Not only is tattoo removal considered to be solely a cosmetic procedure but it's also something which is not considered to affect your health. Some would argue that it does affect your emotional health and therefore should be covered. Others say that if every health insurance company started to cover all tattoo removals then the insurance industry would go broke. For now, health insurance isn't an option for funding tattoo removal unless you happen to have a really unique insurance program. However, there are other ways to get the money to pay for removing tattoos. Cosmetic surgery loans are a popular option for many people.
