What is the best way to remove permanent makeup (eyebrows)?

Is laser treatment the best option to remove a small portion (less than 1/2 inch) of permanent makeup (brow area)?

With the matching wavelength laser, a professional laser works better than toaster-sized non-FDA approved ones. But to answer your question, yes, laser treatment is the best option for removing permanent makeup.

It depends. Some cosmetic pigments don't respond to the laser and actually turn darker. I have treated many eyebrow cosmetic pigments, from the entire tattoo to just small parts like the tail that wasn't placed just right. In my experience, I prefer to do a test spot to see if the laser either blanches out the tattoo or turns it darker. After the results of the initial spot, I am able to counsel my client appropriately. If the ink turns darker, then the laser may not a be good option for removal. If not, then you can safely have the laser treatments and it will clear the pigment.

In my opinion, laser would be an option and probably may be the only option for removing tattooed eyebrows.

It depends on the color of the tattoo. If black or dark brown, then Yag laser can be effective. I recommend a consultation.
