Yes, fractional lasers can help remove tattoos. Although Q-switched lasers are the cold standard, once in a great while, we will use our fractionated erbium to finish the job on very light-colored ink that does not absorb Q-switched light very well. White ink is a great example. In many cases, it will not respond to Q-switched lasers, but it can be removed with fractional treatments.

Fraxel is not a laser that is used for tattoo removal. Q-switched lasers are the proper type of lasers for tattoo removal and Fraxel is not a q-switched laser. You would be wasting your money if you tried to have removal with the Fraxel.
