Blue and green are the colors that require more treatments than any other colors, but with enough treatments the colors can be removed.

The colors that are hardest to remove are green, yellow, orange and
light blue. The reason that these are difficult to remove is that they
require unique lasers to quickly remove them. The type of lasers that
are most advantageous for these colors are the q-switched ruby laser and
the q-switched alexandrite laser. The most common tattoo removal laser,
the q-switched Nd:Yg may be able to remove these colors, but it
typically takes more treatments.

The reason one laser works better than
another for different colors is that each wavelength of light produced
by different lasers is absorbed more or less by each color. If a
particular color does not absorb the laser light well, it is difficult
to heat and remove the tattoo ink.

With such advanced laser technology it is possible to remove most colors of
tattoo pigment. Bright greens, blues and white is the most difficult to come
out while black and red are the easiest. Full laser tattoo removal is
possible. Factors such as artist skill level, pigments used and your own
body chemistry all play a role in any given removal. Results are
individualized.
