In this method, a chemical is applied on the surface of the skin, and it is meant to literally eat away at the layers of skin that contain the tattoo ink. The chemical itself is clear, and applied with a q-tip once every few weeks.

Obviously, this method is not only disgusting, but also very dangerous. It can leave a person permanently scarred, and the person can have an adverse reaction to the chemical itself. If a person is thinking of having this procedure done, they should definitely think twice and go with the lasers.
