Lost in Translation

The misuse of language on people's tattoos is becoming quite the nuisance for body-art lovers. The numbers of people in the US with tattoos has reached tens of millions, and the number of people with botched tattoo jobs has also reached new heights. Many inked up patrons are realizing their tattoo is actually lost in translation; there is an increase in people who have their Thai, Chinese, Spanish or Japanese (among other languages) phrases misused, mixed-up or simply mistaken. Thankfully tattoos have become not-so-permanent with easier methods to remove tattoos. For some people who thought they were getting 'love' or 'truth' written in Thai, are actually realizing the meaning of the words are completely different. Meaning tattoo removal clinics are seeing high numbers of patients wanting their words removed due to wrong meanings.
