Economy and Tattoos

Economic woes have been negatively affecting most business across the world, from a slumping plastic surgery industry to a non-existent investment banking sector, the global financial crisis (GFC) is now starting to attack the tattooing industry. Tattoo parlors are not immune from the crisis; as more people struggle to save their pennies and spend on the essentials and essentials only, tattoos are removed the budgetary spending. In fact with a dwindling job market, more people are opting to remove their tattoos as opposed to keep them, due in part to decreased chances of getting a job and the negative stigma associated with them in the white-collar workforce. Tattoo parlors across the states have been reporting serious financial losses. People unfortunately people no longer have the expendable cash to use on body-art. If this trend persists I wonder if it will adversey impact the tattoo removal industry as well.
