Erase The Past

A Long Beach, California based program is helping former gang members erase their past and make a clean start into the future. Teenagers and adults with gang related tattoos cald on their bodies will now have an opportunity to remove the unwanted marks of shame. These young adults are given the chance to have a future and get educated. Many former gang members find it difficult to fully assimilate back into normal culture - so having a chance to remove marks of their former life and gangs will aid in doing so.
Most former gang members also claim it is very difficult to find proper jobs and careers with tattoos doused all over their bodies. Erase the past will allow these people to have free sessions of laser tattoo removal.

Tattoo Removal Reasons: Travellers Remorse
Yesterday while walking around Coogee Beach a small yet very popular beach suburb in Sydney, Australia I came across a number of young travelers reveling in their newly acquired tattoos. However, in the midst of eavsdropping while sipping on my foamy latte I heard one of the bewildered teens getting a bit anxious when talking about his new tattoo on his ankle. I peered down and noticed these 4 Australian boys (in their late teens) got their mark of freedom and body ink while traveling oversees to Thailand. Of the four boys, one was visably distraught as to how he is going to react when his parents see his mark of "independence and growth."
Like most regretful teens (post-traumatic tattoo event) he was sheepishly asking his friends for advice on where to get his tattoo removed. All of sudden it seemed as if the pack of boys all had an epiphany - they all got therr iphone's out and began searching for local tattoo removal shops. Each one must have suddenly realized their inevitable punishments by their parents and frantically called removal clinics all over Sydney.
So if you've found yourself in the same buyers remorse shoes as these young travelers, tattoo removal is a viable option for removing that unwanted body ink. Globally tattoo removal techniques, typically using laser treatments have become more commonplace and readily available and accessible - even to the young poor traveler. Tattoos are no longer the ever lasting mark of shame - you can easily get them removed with a bit of time and money.

Doctors and Experts Learning About Tattoo Removal
As more and more people are inked with a bit of remorse and regret after being clad with a tattoo, physicians are seeing a lucrative market in tattoo removal. Doctors are seeking out learning the tattoo removal trade with hopes of opening up clinics for tattoo removal. Some are learning the ways of removal from tattoo removal from clinics while others are being taught by tattoo artists at parlors who have also learned removal techniques.
"As the economy worsens and more people are looking for work, they don't want a visible tattoo. They feel it could hurt their chances of finding a good job." Others are barred from military service because of multiple tattoos. But the most frequent candidates are those with tattoos with the names of old boyfriends or former spouses, Kruse says."

Tattoo Removal's Best Candidate
Late last week an the Tourism Queensland in Australia released a job advertisement dubbed "the best job in the world" - the ad told eager job-seekers they could caretake an island on Australia's Great Barrier Reef and get paid $150,00AUD. Over 850,000 reportedly applied for this easy going island job, but one very excited person, who must be feeling the ramifications of job loss and the global financial crisis took her passion for sandy beaches too far. She is this weeks best candidate for tattoo removal.
The Australian woman named "Tegan" according to her YouTube video got a tattoo of the best job in the world advertisement on her arm. In hopes of showing her passion and dedication to the position to people around the world. Tegan seems to be a perfect candidate for tattoo removal - as are most people who opt for hasty body-ink. If Tegan doesn't actually get the job - she should book an appointment at the 1st tattoo removal clinic she sees.

Stiffening Tattoo Laws
Yet again the government has decided to tighten tattoo laws in the US. This time, Michigan is the newest state to jump on the bandwagon. Tattoo parlors and artists will now be obliged to have licenses as do tattoo artists. This new wave of stringent tattooing laws has gained popularity and is due in part to the fight against tattoos. Even workplaces and government agencies including police force and fire fighters are banning visible tattoos and urging employees to remove them or hide them.
""I think it's fantastic," says The Edge owner Jeff Stroud. "The best thing about the law is the ability to prosecute scratches or people that are tattooing out of their homes." The new law will require tattoo parlors to pay $500 for a three year license, and be subject to health inspections."

Singapore Tattoos

Teenagers and twentysomethings are just now getting heavily involved and immersed into the tattoo culture in Singapore. Tattoos are said to be far less popular in countries in Asia. However,
Reuters is reporting that young adults are seeking out tattoos by the droves. In fact tattooing has become a popular art form - from expos to seminars, tattoo artists are doing as the Westerners do.
But with this sudden influx in tattoos, there is bound to be a large number or remorseful youngin's seeking out tattoo removal. More specifically, the workforce in Asia is not accustomed to tattoo-clad employees, meaning many will be seeking out their local tattoo removal clinic once realizing the workforce is not keen on tattoos.

Long Beach Removal Reaching Out to Gangs

When we think of
tattoo removal, the first that comes to mind is removing that botched job, or the name of an ex-flame. But a newly implemented Long Beach tattoo removal program is helping ex-gang members and current gang-members detach from there criminal lifestyles by removing their tattoos. The Long Beach Memorial Medical Center is urging these troubled men and women to come to the monthly removal clinics - many come on their own, while some are referred by Police, probation officers or school counselors.
According to professionals at the clinic,
"The clinic is free, but participants must complete five hours of community service prior to each tattoo removal appointment. The average tattoo takes at least six sessions to erase."
Many men and women who have gone through the removal process have told Long Beach Memorial their lives have been changed: from chances to get a job to full removal and detachment from former gang affiliation.
