Tattoo Removal Summer Craze
While sitting on Sydney's famous Bondi Beach yesterday, basking in the summer sun, I couldn't help but notice the number of young people in the late teens and early twenties with tattoos that were fading away. For years with every bikini and boardshort came a tattoo, but today Sydneysiders are opting for removal instead. Everywhere I looked you could only faintly see remnants of a former inking. Even this morning on Good Morning Australia, the two hosts reported that this summer, "tattoo's are becoming passe."

So is it true? Are the formerly novel body-ink designs losing their style? Seems like it. Minutes after noticing all the tattoo removal areas on beach-bums, I walked up to one and asked if she had a removal recently. The twenty-something girl told me she was doing laser tattoo removal and had a few more sessions left till her one-time "cool" lower back tattoo would be completely gone. She seemed thrilled. Looks like there's a lot more than just surf and sand buzzing around Bondi this summer.
