Welsh Police have launched an investigation after a group of teens were found to have infected tattoos. The teens said they got the tattoos at a friend's house party and now regret their hasty decision. This is not your standard booze guzzling, fraternizing party, rather these 18-year-olds illegally hired a mobile tattoo artist to come cheaply ink them. If this is becoming the new "it" fad for teens, tattoo removal clinics and doctors have their hands full because this form of tattooing is prone to infection.
Mobile tattooists are illegal and possess serious health risks for customers. Police and health officials are urging anyone involved in such antics to get checked for possible infections immediately and to report the mobile tattoo artist to the authorities. Whether you are getting inked or getting it removed, cleanliness and safety are essential to your health. Many of these unlawful tattoo artists are amateurs purchasing their equipment off the Internet and not using tattoo parlor like maintenance or legitimate tools.
