Innovative Celebrity Tattoo Removal: Pharrell Williams

Pharrell Williams is a rapper and producer who has also made a name in diverse areas of life ranging from skateboarding to entrepreneurship to his affiliation with the funk rock band N.E.R.D. At the moment, he's gaining media attention for a plan to get innovative celebrity tattoo removal.

There is a new type of tattoo removal that doesn't really remove the tattoo at all but rather covers it up with new skin. It's a form of skin grafting in which the skin is being grown in a lab and is then essentially sewn on to the body to create new skin. This covers up the existing tattoos with the need for laser tattoo removal and apparently looks completely natural.

Williams is doing this because he has grown tired of the tattoos that are on his arms and he wants to get rid of them once and for all. He's not against tattoos though. In fact, he says that he plans to get new ones on this new skin once the healing process is complete. Perhaps that will give him a chance to try out a different type of tattoo removal down the line in order to provide others with a perspective on what type of celebrity tattoo removal is best.

Question of the Day: Is skin grafting going to be the new type of tattoo removal?

ROTC Student Saved From Need for Tattoo Removal

The Times-News from MagicValley.com has a story that aptly describes how it is possible to avoid tattoo removal by making tattoo choices that will not lead to tattoo regret. The story is about an ROTC student who thought that he wanted to get a tattoo because others in the service had so many of them. A wiser man in the service advised him to avoid getting a tattoo and years later the ROTC student actually wrote to thank him for the advice.

It is very common for people in groups to consider getting tattoos because the bonds of the group feel so strong at the time. The military services are a perfect example of this but it is also seen in other settings such as fraternities. What these people often learn down the line is that their bonds aren't as strong as they though - and aren't as lasting as the tattoos. Many of these people end up getting tattoo removal later after those bonds have been broken and the tattoos seem less important.

Question of the Day: Is it more common for military people to get laser tattoo removal than it is for the average person to do so?

Celebrity Tattoo Removal: Megan Fox

Fans have long been divided on the issue of whether or not actress Megan Fox needs celebrity tattoo removal. Some have said that her tattoos are overbearing and take away from her stunning beauty whereas others believe that her tattoos simple enhance her already gorgeous appearance.

Of course, tattoo removal (even celebrity tattoo removal) is a highly personal choice that is up to the individual who is dealing with the presence of the tattoo. She may now have a good reason to get celebrity tattoo removal - a reason that is one of the most common reasons that people get their tattoos removed.

About a year ago, Megan got the name of fiancee Brian Austin Green tattooed "near her pie". Fox has recently called off the engagement to Green and is now left with that tattoo. There's a good chance that she's going to ultimately want celebrity tattoo removal to erase that old reminder of the relationship gone awry.

Question of the Day: Should Megan Fox get celebrity tattoo removal for the Brian tattoo that is "near her pie"?

Temporary Tattoos Can Help Reduce Tattoo Regret

There is a news article published by the Frederick News Post which takes a look at the continually growing business of tattoo art and the impact that it has on our society. The main issue discussed the the permanency of tattoos and the fact that a large portion of people who get tattoos suffer from tattoo regret down the line. While it's not true that tattoos are permanent, it is true that laser tattoo removal is a much more painful and costly process than just avoiding tattoo regret in the first place.

The suggestion made in this article is that individuals should consider getting long-term temporary tattoos prior to the act of getting the actual tattoo. These tattoos last about one month and give you a chance to get used to the tattoo so that you can make a more informed decision about whether or not this is really something that you want on your body permanently. A more informed decision helps you to avoid tattoo regret and reduce the need for laser tattoo removal down the line.

Question of the Day: Are long-term temporary tattoos a way to reduce tattoo regret?

New Law Could Lead to More Tattoo Removal

There is a new law that's being considered in Indio, California this week which could ultimately lead more people to consider getting laser tattoo removal. That's because if the law passes then it is going to punish those people in the area who have gotten tattoos that are known to be gang-related tattoos. People who aren't interested in going to jail simply for affiliation with a gang may consider gang-related tattoo removal in order to avoid arrest.

The new law is not designed specifically to target those people who have tattoos. Instead, it is intended to reduce gang affiliation in a number of ways including stopping gang members from associating with one another. One of the ways that gangs identify themselves to one another is through their tattoos so affiliation could be reduced if gang tattoos are removed.

The good news for the people who are in this position is that gang tattoos tend to be among the easiest of tattoos to remove. That's because they are generally single color tattoos that are inked in colors that are easy to get rid of with laser tattoo removal treatments. The bad news is that there may not be enough non-profit tattoo removal help for these patients to be able to afford to erase their gang affiliation symbols.

Question of the Day: If this law passes, shoudl the government there be responsible for assisting with the payment of laser tattoo removal for removing gang tattoos?

Celebrity Tattoo Removal Candidate: Wayne Rooney

Wayne Rooney is a well-known English soccer player who has just gotten married at the quite young age of 22. In addition to getting a new wife recently, he also got a new tattoo. Along with his other tattoos, the choice that he made for the new ink indicates that there's a good chance that he's going to eventually suffer tattoo regret and seek out celebrity tattoo removal down the line.

The tattoo that he got recently is the phrase "Just Enough Education to Perform". It is written across his forearm. Those who are familiar with the bad Stereophonics will know that it comes from one of their albums. It's never a wise idea to get tattoos of bands because you really don't know that it's going to be meaningful to you when the band's fame has faded (or you've grown up a little bit).

The new tattoo isn't the one that's most likely to cause tattoo regret, though. Rooney also has a tattoo of his new wife's name on his body. He got this one awhile back and the marriage still moved forward but many say that this kind of tattoo is a curse on a relationship because so many relationships end and then there's the need for tattoo removal of the name that's still on the body.

Question of the Day: Will Wayne Rooney eventually suffer tattoo regret and require celebrity tattoo removal?

Pain of Tattoo Removal Varies

If you are interested in getting laser tattoo removal then it's going to be very important that you do a lot of research in order to better understand this procedure. When you do this research, you will find that one of the things that gets talked about most in almost every article about laser tattoo removal is the issue of pain. What you won't find is any clear answers about just how painful laser tattoo removal might be.

This is due primarily to the fact that people experience pain in different ways. Just ask a group of people who have tattoos whether or not getting them was a painful experience and you will see that people have wildly different opinions about just how painful the procedure was. The same will be true of the pain experienced with laser tattoo removal.

Additionally, the pain of the procedure is going to depend on the size of the tattoo and the tattoo's location on the body. People who already have tattoos know that the case was the same for getting the tattoo. People seem divided on whether the act of getting a tattoo or the act of getting it removed is more painful. If you have any concerns about the pain associated with laser tattoo removal, you should be sure to discuss them with your doctor in advance of the procedure.

Question of the Day: How painful is laser tattoo removal?

Celebrity Tattoo Removal: David Beckham

There are many things that people notice right off the bat about David Beckham (not the least of which is the stunning wife he's got at his side). As for most people with highly visible tattoos, his body ink is one of those things that people will immediately see when he is in their presence.

David Beckham doesn't appear to have any tattoo regrets at the current time and isn't currently reported to be seeking celebrity tattoo removal. However, some suggest that there is going to come a time in his life when he is going to wish that he hadn't gotten all of those tattoos and is then going to want to get tattoo removal.

This suggestion has been made in the past due in part to the fact that he has a tattoo of his wife, a mistake which many couples make and which often leads to tattoo removal of the relationship can't stand the test of time. However, the most recent news article suggesting that David Beckham is going to want laser tattoo removal seems to come from the author's own bad experience with tattoos.

The author of this article had gotten forearm tattoos as a youngster that were regretted for years. The tattoos were ultimately removed but the resulting appearance is distressing to the individual who says that the whole experience of having the tattoos has caused significant "mental anguish". The author warns Beckham that he's probably going to feel the same way one day.

Question of the Day: Will David Beckham suffer tattoo regret and ultimately seek out celebrity tattoo removal?

Gang Tattoo Removal is a Risky Business

One of the most common types of laser tattoo removal that takes place today is non-profit tattoo removal designed to play a key role in the rehabilitation of former gang members. Gang tattoos symbolize a life of crime and give clear indications to other gang members which makes it difficult to move beyond the gang life if you still have the tattoos. Tattoo removal may help these individuals to remove some of the external pressure related to gang life and to move forward with lives that are crime-free.

However, gang tattoo removal is not without its risks. Gangs do not like to see their members straying from this former life and therefore they are opposed to the removal of gang-affiliated tattoos. Those non-profit organizations that are assisting people to get tattoo removal may take care to remain private and under-the-radar in order to avoid retribution from the gangs.

For example, a Santa Rosa gang tattoo removal program called Clean Slate actively strives to keep much of its business a secret. It does not release the location of tattoo removal services and it does not release the names of those former gang members who are involved in getting laser tattoo removal. This secrecy is designed to protect everyone involved in the removal of gang tattoos from trouble caused by angry gang members.

Question of the Day: How risky is it to get gang tattoo removal and / or to provide gang tattoo removal services?

Laser Tattoo Removal Remains Popular Despite Economic Crunch

We keep hearing all around us that there are problems with the economy. The cost of nearly everything is on the rise and the majority of people are trying to figure out where they can cut back on spending in order to remain within their household budgets.

You might think that this means people are no longer paying for procedures like laser tattoo removal that are considered to be cosmetic procedures. However, that's not the case. Laser procedures including laser tattoo removal remain popular despite the fact that people are cutting back on costs elsewhere in their lives.

There are a few different reasons that procedures like laser tattoo removal might remain popular despite changes in the economy. One is that laser tattoo removal can actually help people to move up in their professional careers so it's considered to be a wise investment. Another is that people who were paying more for invasive cosmetic procedures may be reducing their spending by turning to non-invasive procedures like laser tattoo removal. And still another is the fact that looks matter and people don't want to compromise as much in the area of beauty as they will in other areas of life.

Question of the Day: Will the laser tattoo removal industry be affected by the changing economy?

Tattoo Removal Requirements for American Idol Auditions

American Idol auditions have begun again and people all around the nation are lining up to sing their hearts out in hopes of appearing on television. They would go to many extremes in order to make it on to the show. But would they go so far as to get laser tattoo removal?

There are a lot of rules about getting on this show and one of them is that there are certain kinds of tattoos that aren't going to be allowed to be seen on TV:

"If you have any tattoos that contain any corporate or sports names or logos, copyrighted images, celebrity names or images (living or dead), cartoon character images or inappropriate message or words (for example, profanity), please cover the tattoo for your audition." (source)

Of course, this clearly doesn't mean that you have to get laser tattoo removal to be on the show. You just need to be willing to cover up those tats. But if you have one that's really obvious and difficult to cover up, then you might need to consider doing something drastic to be allowed to get on the show.

Question of the Day: Would you get laser tattoo removal to be allowed to appear on television?

Why We Care About Celebrity Tattoo Removal

Celebrity tattoo removal is an increasingly interesting topic to all different types of people. This is due in part to the fact that it is an emerging form of celebrity gossip that has only recently started to take hold. It is also due in part to the fact that people are interested in the nuances of tattoo removal in general and find it more interesting to learn about this through the choices made by celebrities than to read boring texts about celebrity tattoo removal.

The main reason that people are interested in celebrity tattoo removal is, of course, because they are interested in celebrity gossip. They may be interested specifically in the tattoo removal choices of their favorite celebrities or they may have a general interest in learning about the famous people who have made tattoo mistakes that they regret so much they have to fix them. In general, we like knowing that celebrities make mistakes just like other people and we take whatever opportunity we can find to talk about these mistakes. Celebrity tattoo removal gossip is one example of that.

Another reason that people want to know about celebrity tattoo removal is because people want to get more information about tattoo removal in general. There are many articles detailing tattoo removal that was done by celebrities. This is a lot more interesting than reading about tattoo removal in general - although a smart person will speak with a doctor about tattoo removal to get accurate information.

Question of the Day: What compels us to be interested in celebrity tattoo removal?

Austin's Only Tattoo Shop May Do Tattoo Removal

Austin has opened its very first tattoo shop. Of course, we're not talking abut Austin, Texas, a place where plenty of people are tattooed. We're talking about the much smaller city of Austin, Minnesota. This city has waited a long time to get a tattoo shop and the guy who has opened it has some seriously ambitious plans now that the dream is starting to come true.

One of the plans that the man has in mind is that he wants to get licensed to do tattoo removal. Anyone who has been in the business of tattooing for a long time knows that it's almost as common to suffer from tattoo regret as it is to love the tattoos that you have. As a result, tattoo artists are beginning to offer their own tattoo removal services in a sort of all-in-one tattoo shop setting.

Most people would not recommend that you go to a tattoo artist for laser tattoo removal. That's because it's always best to get cosmetic procedures done from a qualified doctor in a medical setting. However, the choices for tattoo removal in Austin, Minnesota may be limited so this may fill a niche need that's not yet been met.

Question of the Day: Should tattoo artists also offer laser tattoo removal services?

Insights From a Tattoo Removal Specialist

Laser tattoo removal is a topic that is getting more and more attention from the mainstream media these days. In keeping with that, the Chicago Sun-Times has published an interview with a tattoo removal specialist from the area.

Here are some of the insights that were offered by this professional:

- Over fifty percent of removed tattoos were probably originally obtained as the result of making a poor tattoo choice while drinking alcohol.

- A large percentage of soon-to-be-brides come in to tattoo removal specialists to get ink removed before starting their new lives as married women.

- There are an inordinate number of dolphin tattoos that get removed. The specialist wasn't sure why although she made an assumption that these tattoos were obtained on Spring Break vacations.

- Teens who get tattoos without their parents consent are often taken to a tattoo removal specialist and required by their parents to remove the ink.

- A surprising number of people go to a tattoo removal specialist immediately following the tattoo; they get the tattoo and come to get it removed the next day out of immediate regret.

Women More Likely Than Men To Get Tattoo Removal

There once was a time when the people who were getting tattoos were primarily men. That isn't true anymore since women are regular clients of tattoo artists around the globe. However, women may be more likely than men to suffer from tattoo regret after getting a tattoo. At least, that seems to be one indication of the fact that women are getting more tattoo removal than men are.

This could be due to the fact that women with tattoos are still seen in a negative light by society despite the fact that more and more women have tattoos these days. Embarassment over having the tattoo, a belief that the tattoo lowers their image and a concern that the tattoo makes it harder to get a job are leading reasons that women get tattoo removal.

What was found in the study that examined tattoo removal rates between men and women was that women and men were equally likely to dislike their tattoos five years after getting them but that women were far more likely than men to experience social stigma as a result of the tattoo.

Question of the Day: Why are women getting more tattoo removal than men are getting?

Is Tattoo Removal Most Common In Your Thirties?

When is someone most likely to get laser tattoo removal? It may be immediately following the day that they get the tattoo, after they wake up and realize what they have done. Or it may be immediately following a major life change like a divorce.

But those are times that are specifically dependent on an event. Is there an age when people are most likely to consider getting laser tattoo removal?

One tattoo expert says that people are most likely to get laser tattoo removal in their thirties. This is due to the fact that many people are wrapping up college and starting their serious careers at this time and they feel that the tattoo is a negative reflection on them that could hinder them from getting a job.

It may be truer for women than for men that the thirties are a good time to get laser tattoo removal. Studies indicate that they may be more likely to get tattoo removal due to social stigma. This would be likely during the thirties because of a new career, a new marriage and / or the starting of a family.

Question of the Day: At what age are you most likely to get laser tattoo removal?

Types of Lasers for Tattoo Removal

If you are not familiar with the ins and outs of laser tattoo removal then you might assume that all of the laser devices used in this procedure are the same. You would be making an incorrect assumption. Although the lasers used by doctors are all similar, they are not all made by the same manufacturers and there may be differences among the different devices.

One recent article about laser tattoo removal explores three different laser makers who make products that can be used for laser tattoo removal. The details can be read here but basically it covers a general laser tattoo removal device, a portable laser tattoo removal device and a device that can be used for several laser procedures such as laser hair removal but which does work on tattoos.

If you want to know the ins and outs of the procedure that you are getting done then it is probably a good idea to ask your tattoo removal doctor some more in-depth questions about the lasers that are being used for the procedure.

Question of the Day: Do you care about the devices that are used in laser tattoo removal?

Invest in Tattoo Removal Stocks

Tattoo removal is a business that is growing rapidly. In just the past year, tattoo removal has gone from something of an underground dermatological procedure to something that we hear about all over the media.

Britney Spears made a television show appearance as a receptionist at a tattoo removal doctor's office. Celebrity tattoo removal itself is regularly making headlines. And even commercials like the recent ones from YellowBook are starting to feature tattoo removal in them.

And what this means is that people who are in the business of investing their money should be thinking seriously about investing in the product makers of laser tattoo removal devices. These stocks are currently low in price but with the business booming, this could be a very wise investment.

Main Reason to Remove a Tattoo

We talk about many of the most common reasons that people get tattoos removed. For example, a reason that comes up a lot is because the tattoo is symbolic of a relationship that the person is no longer involved in. General tattoo regret and concerns about professional appearance are other commonly cited reasons for tattoo removal.

However, all of these reasons point to a more general reason that was succintly summed up in a recent article on tattoo removal:

"A shift in identity occurred, and removal centered around dissociating from the past." (source)

That's what it boils down to. You saw yourself a certain way and got a tattoo that was representative of that. Life changed - you changed - and now you don't see yourself in the same way. Maybe that change was a break-up or a new job or maybe it was just plain growing up but whatever it was the tattoo just doesn't make sense anymore.

Question of the Day: How do we sum up the reasons that people get laser tattoo removal?

Tattoo Removal as a Way to Blend In

One of the biggest reasons that people get tattoos is because they want to stand out from the crowd. Now, it can certainly be argued that since so many these days have tattoos, the tattoo doesn't make you stand out anymore. But the truth is that tattoos still get you noticed in a crowd even if only for a moment. When the tattoo is really unique, you really get noticed.

So it makes sense that people who get laser tattoo removal might be attempting to blend in with the crowd around them. People get laser tattoo removal so that they won't get negative attention at work. They get laser tattoo removal because the tattoos are gang signs that they don't want separating them from society anymore. They get tattoo removal because they want to fit in.

Question of the Day: Does tattoo removal allow you to blend in more?

Zune Tattoo Guy Should Get Laser Tattoo Removal

There is a man who is famous in the tech world for being such a huge supporter of the Microsoft Zune that he got the logo for the Zune tattooed on to his back. Everyone assumed that he would experience tattoo regret almost immediately but we reported earlier this year that he still was not seeking laser tattoo removal for those tattoos because he remained a big fan of the product.

He has since changed his mind about the product and is finally suffering the tattoo regret that everyone assumed this branded tattoo would cause him to have. However, he doesn't appear to be planning to get laser tattoo removal just yet. Instead, he is talking about getting the ink covered up with a different tattoo.

Even if the Zune guy decided to go the route of getting a cover-up for the tattoo, he could consider getting laser tattoo removal to lighten the tattoo. This would make the cover-up easier to do. Hopefully he's not planning to get some other logo branded on to him or he's going to really be wanting tattoo removal down the line!

Question of the Day: Should the Zune guy get laser tattoo removal?

"Screaming Need" For Tattoo Removal Exists

We know that tattoo removal is on the rise. We know that there are people of all ages and both genders that are likely to get laser tattoo removal (although it's more common among women in their thirties than other groups). And we know that the increase in tattoo removal is caused by a combination of increased awareness, increased availability and increased affordability of laser tattoo removal services. But did you know that the demand may be caused by a "screaming need" for laser tattoo removal.

That was the term used in a recent article about a new laser tattoo removal place that opened up in one city in this country. And although it sounds like a bit of an exaggeration, it may be the exact right term to describe the feeling that people have when they are experiencing tattoo regret.

You see, tattoo regret happens when you have a tattoo on your body that you don't think represents who you are. Your body should be a sanctuary, a place inside of which you can feel safe. If you have images on your body that you don't like then you may indeed feel a "screaming need" to hurry up and get those things off of your body so that you can feel content inside of your skin again.

Question of the Day: Is there a "screaming need" for laser tattoo removal in America today?
