We have
mentioned on this blog in the past that there are reasons for getting tattoo removal that aren't purely cosmetic. There are many tattoo removal programs which aim to remove gang and crime tattoos in order to assist people in rehabilitating themselves from these types of lifestyles. Many of these are non-profit tattoo removal programs that work in conjunction with probation officers and court systems to provide free or low-cost tattoo removal to people who are trying to turn their lives around.
It turns out that these programs are becoming so popular that many of them are starting to require that potential candidates be placed on waiting lists. Such is the case of one church-sponsored program that was profiled recently in the
Idaho news. This speaks to the fact that tattoo removal is increasingly seen as an important part of these kinds of rehabilitative programs. As more communities start to recognize this fact, it is likely that we will see an even bigger increase in reform-focused tattoo removal programs.
Question of the Day: Do you believe that non-profit tattoo removal should be a requirement of certain probation programs?photo link
