It has been reported that Gwyneth Paltrow has gone ahead and made that tattoo mistake that we so often warn people not to make: she's gotten a tattoo that represents her lover. She decided that she wanted to honor Chris Martin, the father of her children and band member of Coldplay, with a tattoo on her leg.
Originally Paltrow was going to get the tattoo on her arm but she thought that might jeopardize her acting career and so opted for a more hard-to-find location. She also decided to get just a simple "C" and not Chris's whole name printed on her body. Those are two indications that she may not need to get laser tattoo removal if the relationship doesn't pan out.
However, Paltrow will always know why she got that ink on her. It may be fine right now when things are happy but that doesn't mean that she's going to want that tattoo on her forever. Tattoo artists frequently refer to the tattooed name as a curse; as soon as it's on the body, relationships come to an end. So Paltrow may have some removal to consider in the future.
